Private Photography Course in NYC

My private photography courses originated in NYC, which is also where I fully realized just how many aspiring photographers don’t feel they are getting the most out of their camerawork. So often the people who come to me for lessons have come from curriculum-based learning that was heavy on memorization and light on real-world experience. Yes, it can be very interesting to learn the historical aspects of photography, but if you come out of a class not feeling confident with your camera, what's the point? My course is designed to get you familiar with your camera of choice and how it can work best for you. Once that’s been achieved, we will go into what inspires you about photography and what shots you’re hoping to capture along the way. From there I will instruct you on the technical aspects of camera handling and how to make the most out of a shot. My instruction is based on my years of experience, which will help you assess your own personal interests and reach your artistic goals. Everyone’s different, so I believe my private photography course should differ with every single participant.

Obviously, there’s only so much that can be done in one session, so I always encourage additional sessions if you want to deepen your photography skill sets. But thus far, anyone I’ve instructed has come away saying they learned more in an hour than they feel they've learned in entire courses. I typically let that speak for itself, but I encourage anyone considering my private photography courses to reach out and get in contact with me. I’ll discuss the entire course from start to finish, and we’ll make sure together that what I have to offer is something you’re interested in. So if you’re looking for a truly unique one-on-one photography lesson that is centered around your own specific interests, don’t wait—contact me today!
