Private Online Photography Lessons

My online photography lessons are a great way to feel more confident with every shot from the comfort of your own home. No matter where you live, if you’re looking to get more experience with photography and improving your art, you’ve come to the right place. My methods are simple; I feel that curriculum courses have their place, but you need one-on-one attention to truly discover your own photography skills. My goal is to instruct you and assist with that process so that you can grow into your own artist and feel confident about it. The beginning stages of my courses all start with assessing the camera you use and determining if you’re getting the most out of it. Oftentimes I find that individuals aren't using all the features present in their camera, or perhaps they don't even realize they’re there. Once we’ve covered the intricacies of your camera, I will discuss with you what drew you to photography and what inspires you. From there, I will take my years of experience and formulate instruction entirely based on getting you where you want to be in terms of skill.

Now, everyone is different. Sometimes one session might be enough and make you feel like you can tackle the world of photography. I’ve had former students say as much after the fact, or even say that one hour with me made more difference than a semester’s worth of classes. I truly feel that’s where my online photography lessons shine the brightest. I’m not going to fill your head with info to memorize; I’m going to help you discover new hands-on tactics and skill sets for the field. And yes! I can do that through a Zoom call. I always encourage more sessions, but I understand that you might be satisfied with just one—and that’s perfectly fine.
