Home / NYC Photography Classes / How Do I Use My Camera? Part 2 ($97)

JP Teaches Photo

In this follow-up to our beginner photography class in NYC Part I (which covers exposure, aperture and shutter speed), this class covers:

-how you can use ISO to take better pictures in low light environments
-how to use your flash so that your images look naturally lit instead of that awful “flash” look with overexposed subjects and bright backgrounds
-how you can use white balance to help you take better portraits

You WILL need a flash for this class. If your camera came with a built-in flash, that is sufficient. You are also welcome to bring an external flash if you have one.

Weather permitting, this beginner photography class will happen in Central Park in NYC. The exact location will be emailed out 24 hours prior to the class start time.
